Whether you garden with chronic pain like I do, or just don't have a lot of time - the best plants you can grow in your garden are the ones you can just set and forget. These are some of my favorite low maintenance perennial plants to grow. What are your favorites?

Perennials are very rewarding. I just planted my first lavender and blanket flowers this year. I am also looking for perennials that can tolerate dappled shade for most of the day since we have a beautiful maple tree in our front yard.
  • We had that nasty HOT 90's week, that shocked everything. I watered 3 times a day, to keep the veggies cool. Glad things are more reasonable, now.

I love walking onions! The green, the underground bulb, the "floating" bulb, and the flowers are all yummy and have different flavor profiles. Do you ever scoop some soil on top of the bulb after it falls?

Amazing varieties, I let a sage plant go wild. It goes well in soups an sausage.❤
