Amazing way to wrap up this series! Seeing Mob smile was 👌🏻🥹 Re:ZERO will be taking this time slot starting as of next week!
  • One (the creator of Mob Psycho 100) said that he wanted to create a big story about a small step. This ending was just perfect for the series.
  • @EslamNawito
I really appreciate Mob laughing outload surrounded by loved ones after being told he can't laugh in episode 3 nor connect with people.
  • Funfact that adds more flavor to the Reigen chasing Mob scene: In Japan, there is a sinister custom of people who give up their lives of removing their shoes before the act of self-extermination. This comes from an ancient culture of samurai who said that if they threw away their scabbards after swinging their swords, they were giving up their lives because they didn't expect to sheathe their swords ever again. So, when Reigen removes his shoes before chasing Mob with all his momentum, he is literally deadly serious. He WILL reach his friend and student. He WILL be heard. Or he will die trying.

As far as Dimple's return is concerned, I agree that it cheapens the sacrifice that he made in episode 6. But I think the explanation they gave for it is a good one. We already established in season 2 with the Dragger that some spirits can get stronger or even come into being when people believe in them or are afraid of them, so it's reasonable to believe that Mob's strong attachment to Dimple would allow him to stay alive. And nothing would ever have created a powerful psychic cyclone like the one that Mob made on his way to Tsubomi, so it makes sense that this particular moment was the catalyst for Dimple being able to barely re-form himself from his scattered remnants that were left in the atmosphere after he carried the broccoli away.

lol I guess no one commented about it even on Patreon, but I really like the re-using of Ange's 1st Mob OP cover to end the series.

Top 3 fave episodes: 1. Season 1 episode 11: Reigen being mistaken for claw's boss is the funniest plot progression in shonen ever and a tribute to ONE's writing style of how he uses satire within the realms of a compelling non-comedic story. Completely subverted my expectations. 2. Season 2 episode 7: S2 Episode 1 and 5 was quite close to me but this episode got me feeling reminiscing about days when I used to think I didn't need people, reflecting on the life Reigen lives and how it mirrors the average lonely man only to be saved by Mob's acceptance. 3. Season 3 episode 12: I mean its really hard to ignore this episode when thinking of a top 3. So many genuine emotional conclusions and the heart of the story never beated as loudly as it did than in this episode. Thanks Mob, thanks ONE!
  • i cried so hard the first time i saw the ending, now im holding my tears in middle of work watching this reaction
  • Endings to a series are rarely ever this well executed, Mob Psycho 100 is one of the most perfect endings to a series I have ever witnessed. Shigeo Kageyama is now 100% himself and it is beautiful. This is really just a coming of age story in all reality but it was handled so well, honestly probably the best story of that kind of the 21st century.
  • @a1men4ik
It was so great to rewatch three seasons with you. Thanks!
  • Not sure where Ange was coming from, Reigen has always been a Rizzmaster. Remember the claw base in season 1?
  • @Sieghiro
This series and its adaptation from manga to anime is such a rare treat, true masterpiece.
  • @JohnsonsOP
thank you carlie and ange for reacting to one of my favorite shows ❤🎉😢 it was a great journey with you both

    作者のONEはモブサイコ100を描き始める時に「優しい漫画を描きたかった」と言ってました。日本語ですみません。
  • I love mob psycho 100, it's one of my favorite ones, it had an satisfying ending ONE is a genius, he created two masterpieces 👏👏👏😮
  • One thing, Mob never laughed in his whole life after ritsu accident, during watching the reaction, I was looking for mob laugh but he never did, he always put smile. So ending the episode with mob laugh, is the perfect ending. Since it's a story of mob emotions development.
  • @cocotaem5101
One of my top 5 favourite shows, I’m glad I found your reactions!

Mob has been one of the incredible stories that just got better and better as it went on. What an amazing ride it was. It started out as what might have felt like a battle shonen or another parody, but it turned into a brilliant coming of age about accepting yourself. The only regret I have is that the spot of this series isn't taken by Tower Of God. No regrets about Mob.
  • This was one of the almost perfect endings and elevated mob psycho up for me in my top 10
