"The BEST SECRET beach town in California - Ventura! " Not anymore. Anyway, you missed that action by about 60 years. My mom and dad built a house at 2020 Sunset Drive in Hobson Heights, Ventura, CA in 1961, the year I was born. It truly was a beautiful place then, it and Carpenteria. Now it's just another high income cease-pool of shiny people with shiny teeth and cars and wealth enough to tear down the 'old' houses and build their gentrified mansions into the sky. In the 60s and 70s it was truly a quaint, remote, rural living area that middle class people could afford to live, rasie children, and thrive -- teachers, pilots, etc., a past sight to behold.

These types of YouTube videos are what kills places like this being “secret” and not run down by tourist junk. Please stop. Just enjoy the town and stop documenting everything.
