The first time I ever saw Willie Mayes was on the baseball game on television. I was about 5 years old. I was sitting on my grandfather's lap watching the baseball game. When Willy Mayes had hit a home run and my grandfather stood up and he was cheering and I was cheering. I didn't know why I was cheering. I was just cheering because my grandfather was cheering. I was only 5. But, it was one of my fondest memories of my gramdpa that I will.never forget. 🤗
