Video-game fans and serious gamers will love these fascinating stories. In 2019, Reilly Howard saved someone from dying by suicide by listening when they needed a friend. Wonderville, located in Brooklyn, is filled with video games and pinball machines. But unlike other video arcades, all the games are homemade. Earlier this year, Jonathan Gonzalez said his gaming headphones protected him from a stray bullet. Inside Edition Digital has more.

The first kid was using cheats on Counter Strike but still saved a life. Nobody likes cheaters but at least he's a hero for saving someone's life.

I’ve saved a life on a game. I called the suicide prevention center and stayed on the line with both for a few hours and come to find out, he ended up getting the help he needed. I was told by his parents over the phone that I saved their child’s life and thanked me for it.
  • This is proof that video gaming does sometimes save a life !!!! 🎮🕹🙂🥰
  • It goes to show that your life can be changed in a second because of someone elses actions, good or bad. 💜

You know what. The first kid may be a cheater, but at least he values human lives.

Hearing the people play Alex’s theme brought me joy. Such a good theme
  • The story of that gamer taking his love for music in many fighting games and starting a jazz is heartwarming. Videogame music is my favorite type of music to listen to as I’m a fan of Japanese videogames mainly Super Mario, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, and Persona and unfortunately there’s still that stigma that “videogame music isn’t real music” and why I keep getting judge for. Video game to me is real music!

4:54 just want to point out that this isn't footage of Sonic the Hedgehog rather a fan-made ROM Hack that recreates the lost 1990 Tokyo Toy Show demo of the original game

  • @DogGoBork
And parents still don't let children play video games because "video games cause violence"
