More of these cozy cottages please! I am biased living in an 864 sq ft 2 bed 1 bath prairie ranch home originally built in 1945 - but it’s perfect for me in semi retirement. I instantly fell in love with living on the compact side. Tiny homes get all the attention, but these classic under 900 sq ft homes deserve more love.

This is a small house, but to me it is mansion. I live in a unfinished tiny 160sq ft shed.. Praying and trying not to get discouraged about how long it is taking me to complete.. So glad her dreams came true and Father God came through for her...He is SO AWESOME..

This house has everything a single person needs and would even be good for a couple in early years or retirement. Ben & Erin always listen to their clients and do a thorough job. I love the Thibault wallpaper in the bathroom for a great design choice. Re-using the refrigerator and tub were brilliant ideas, love the "dog washing station"! They also really know how to stretch a limited budget. I hope she enjoys living there for a long time to come!

Ok. I love this episode. I grew up in the south in a little house like this. When I saw the bed frame during the reveal, I literally cried because we had bed frames just like that and it just reminded me of the good days gone by and family members that have passed on. Good memories.

My uncle owned a plumbing company before his death, and be put a tub like that in my granny's house. The theory was that it would be easy for her to step into, and she could sit on the corner and bathe without having to get clear down into a tub. She was scared of getting into it for some reason, and bathed standing at the sink for the rest of her life. She used the tub as a storage space.
