I have waited over 35 years for this. I’ve tried twice to do this but just got overwhelmed. Thank you so much for your research and presentation.

Herod's family is absolutely ridiculous. Imagine entering his house and calling: "Herod" and everybody turns around including the daughters, the servants and the house animals
  • Overwhelming to realize how long this chart might have taken to complete. It's like a quick reference for those who are studying the bible an wants to understand these events > Kudos. This is a great work.
  • Interesting fact: Pharaoh Shoshenq invaded Judah and so, everyone hated him. Later, he was arrested and he worked hard to pay his debt to society and redeem himself. His story is told in the 1994 movie The Shawshank Redemption.

The amount of information and knowledge this guy can put in the form of an easy to digest chart astounds me. Bravo! I'm learning more about Biblical history more than I ever did in seminary, and sunday school.

Instead of a "literalist," I consider myself a serious Bible believer. Some of the Bible can be dated, as you have found, some cannot. More and more archeological evidence is being uncovered that helps to date and confirm biblical evidence. I don't need it believe, but it's nice to be able to add it to my data. I really am glad for your videos and your charts. I'll be ordering this one for my church. Thank you for your work. Very professional. 😊

This 35:45 minute video deserves a standing ovation. Thank you for the knowledge I didn't know, existed. This is mind-blowing. Loved the chart and the explanation. Well done!!!

My parent's didn't know what they were going to name me til very shortly before my birth, they were in the middle of a bible study and the story of Abraham came up. They thought Terah sounded pretty good (despite the fact he's only mentioned twice in the Bible). 24 years later, here I am watching the breakdown of my namesake's family tree. Interesting times :D
  • FUN FACT: The Mesha Stele was destroyed by the Bedouin because the Ottomans were demanding it over. Thankfully, the archaeologist who found it made an imprint of it, so its writing was preserved. The Stele on display today is actually a reproduction with only a few fragments that archaeologists were able to recover.

From Adam to Noah, the Hebrew names form a few Hebrew sentences: 1 Adam Man 2 Seth Appointed 3. Enosh Mortal 4. Kenan Sorrow 5. Mahahlalel The blessed God 6. Jared Shall come down 7. Enoch Teaching 8. Methuselah His death shall bring 9. Lamech The despairing 10. Noah Rest, comfort If we stitch the word meanings together, it forms the following sentences: 1. Man appointed mortal sorrow (The fall of man). 2. The blessed God shall come down teaching (Torah given to Moses) 3. His death shall bring the despairing rest and comfort (death of Jesus and fulfilment of Matt 11:28-29)

Random little personal story: I actually had an ancestor named Zimri. My 5th (? Maybe 4th? I forget) great grandfather. I wonder why anyone would name their kid after a failed, hated king who was so stubborn and greedy for power that he literally went down in flames. Maybe it was that thing where parents name their child after someone they DON'T want their kid to be like? Maybe that was common in Appalachia? (That's where they lived) I'm not sure 🤷‍♀️😂 Maybe they just simply opened The Bible randomly and looked for a name, saw Zimri, and decided it was meant to be. I'm not sure what kind of man he was. There's not a lot of info on him. Except that he was a Union Civil War vet with Kidney Disease (info from his pension paperwork/record). I guess less info means he probably wasn't as bad as his namesake, at least 😂

What program does he use to make these charts?

the people in the comment section are wild. if you don't believe in Christianity and aren't interested in learning a biblical topic, even in a secular manner, then don't watch the video. there's a "not interested" button, you don't to click on it just to comment "why did this appear on my page? i'm an atheist" or "this is not real, waiting for the santa Claus family tree video". if you don't want to watch it, then don't, you don't have to click on every video that appears on your youtube page

Possessing a secular interest in biblical history I have always struggled with the genealogy of the people involved and chronology of their stores. Your concise explanation and tolerance of scientific data has made this a very informative and enjoyable journey for someone seeking for a better theological understanding. Thank you.

    "7 generations later"...main character syndrome.
