No one will ever be able to pull this off like Bette Midler. NO ONE.
-
The “Bye” at the end feeds me.
-
I think the best part is that Winifred managed to get the townsfolk to say the spell with her and thus probably made the spell more powerful.
-
This “mine!” part at 0:46 sounding like a witch’s scream but in tune it’s the most impressive part to me. She’s brilliant!
-
it’s not a real Halloween without this movie 🎃
-
"Now the witch is back and there's hell to pay" Strongest line in the entire movie
-
2:00 the “say bye byeeeeeeee” part is so so good omg too catchy. Bette Midler has a good voice, and she did a good job in this movie. She’s so talented and a good actress, same with everyone in this movie and the other witches too, all so talented

This is the kind of musical moment that just feels weirdly natural, in comparison to the sequel's two musical scenes that came out of nowhere.
-
These three actresses that played original Sanderson sisters still look remarkably similar as they did 25 years ago. They could easily reprise the roles with very little make-up to have them look as though no time as past since the last movie. I know they're thinking of making a remake, but they need to rethink that. Most of us don't want a remake...we want the original sisters. We want a sequel.
-
The remake of hocus pocus should be with the originals because they still look great for the role
-
there are times that you can tell that the actor was having the time of their life playing the role
-
The fact that these witches can adapt to 1990s performances after dying in the 1690s makes me respect their resourcefulness even more.
-
0:50 when she says "My names Winifred what's yours?" That's a reference to Middler's character Mama Rose in the movie Gypsy who during a song says "Hello everybody! My name's Rose what's yours?"
-
Fan: Blair Witch Project is the best witch movie Winnifred: Hold my glass.......SISTEEEEERS!!!!!!!!
-
Bette Midler is just incredible. I don't think people realize the range of notes shes hitting in this performance
-
The last bye note. Give me the chills. It was so beautifully dragged out like good lord I love it
-
The originals can never be beaten! (Oh, my 4,5k likes, haha. Never been this famous 🤣🤣)

A brilliant little piece of acting I noticed on Bette Midler's part in this scene? during the In Comma Coriyama part of the witches chant, her eyes are seeking the three children in a predatory fashion until she finds them, and when she turns around she signals to her two sisters that she found them with just a look and a subtle nod. Add to that the pensive gesture while Max is talking and how quickly she turns everything in her favor in the most complete of ways is really shows just WHY Winfred is the leader of the three sisters. She's almost a child friendly version of the Magnificent Bastard (as TV Trope classifies it) type of villain with that kind of multitasking just with a minute at best of preparation. And Better Midler portrays it amazingly while still having the time of her life in this role. THAT'S what one can call an actress

Bette midler is easily the best thing in this movie
