Hate it when I walk into my local store and the manager hits me with the ol "mU U 9 3," instantly terminating reality
-
"...Now, this IS regrettable!" chants the eldritch phrases that fucking obliterate reality as you know it classic tom nook
-
Saying an invalid code to Tom Nook pisses him off so much that he recites a forbidden reality deletion spell to punish you for your hubris
-
Resetti mentioned that yelling at you is bad for his health. At this rate you're gonna give him a tombstone.
-
With these in mind, it feels very fitting that Resetti's new job in NH is as someone you can call to rescue you when you get stuck.
-
7:04 I like how tom nook being able to execute code by speaking it aloud implies that he's omnipotent, and has the power to control the game and you and all the other villagers are just puppets in his own little world
-
Resetti's song is my ringtone and I had this video in my queue, when it came on I ran to my phone thinking this video was an actual phone call. You successfully accidentally bamboozled me
-
6:36 He speaks the unspeakably name of the forgotten gods and is immediately punished with a halting of reality
-
They could've used that blank Legend of Zelda NES furniture item as a way to add in The Lost Levels, as it was gonna be in the Japanese version but it didn't make the cut. Since the FDS BIOS is present on the disc, The Lost Levels can run in the game, so they missed that opportunity to fix that.
-
The diary one is so funny. Imagine if a real life diary had such a secure system, where trying to open the diary would stop time and space forever
-
There are some facts here that have been mentioned on this channel before, but I wanted to compile all the "forced-resets" into one video. Hopefully there's still some new information for you all in this video! Rest assured there are still plenty of new discoveries and obscure information to cover in the future, and I am putting substantial effort into covering those topics with longer, in-depth videos with increased production quality. A few major topics I've teased in the past are finally coming to fruition in the editing stage! Hope you look forward to it! 🤫

7:02 - Casually hitting Tom Nook with a universe-ending cognitohazard
-
This is why, whenever you program a game to wait for something, you should have it eventually give up and just force it. Player taking way too long to walk somewhere? Just warp them and get on with it!

I'm glad Mr.Resetti found a new job. In Wild World I'd have to purposely reset until he gave me an apology task that I could do. The DS microphone never worked for me and copying his text exactly wasn't always easy. I liked the times where he was just so fed up he'd let me off with no punishment. XD

Resetti wants to access your localisation
-
Those yellow cubes are... somehow kind of eerie.
-
They should’ve made resetti register when you crash the game
-
I remember as a kid my game froze and I started crying because I didn’t want to confront Resetti
-
The story about the extra NES item was definitely interesting, saw someone say that they believed it was cause they were hoping to allow you to put your own rom into that slot but couldn’t do it
-
The moving golden cubes frighten me.
