That was a good way to say goodbye to a man who spent a good portion of his life to be a good influence on the new generation that was to be the leaders of the future. Looked like he appreciated the attention and effort that you put into the song. Congratulations and happy retirement Mr. Wells!

“So let me end this with a bang” The Joker would've actually done it

That moment when a student and a teacher are such good friends that they have inside joke

11 years and I have yet to see this masterpiece. It’s so cool to see principals that are as cool as this

The principal absolutely loved you for this. He felt both validated and absolutely roasted at the same time. If he had a good sense of humor which it seems he did, this is a perfect send off!

“You look like the guy from KFC.” The most underrated roast.

I had a principal just like Mr. Wells in grade school. He was a nice older guy, never really raised his voice at his students, never really got mad, and was the nicest and chillest person you'd ever meet, really. If you ever did something wrong, he wasn't mad at you, he was just disappointed, and my god, did he sell that disappointment well. If you ever did anything wrong, which, I think was one of the best things he did as a principal, he personally made sure you would know what you did wrong, and made sure you wouldn't do it again instead of just suspending you and calling it there. He made sure to try to reform instead of punish, and, because of the area the school district was in, that was one of the best things he ever did, especially at such a young age. His efforts were truly seen in middle and highschoolers, when every other kid in the grades were complete immature assholes to everyone, including the teachers, the students he had were the exact opposite, completely respectful to people around them, respected authority figures in the school, and never got in trouble, or at least nearly as much as the other students. He also rewarded students individually as well as giving the entire school awards by doing dumb shit in front of the entire school at assemblies. Things like if we had a state assessment score or something that met a certain goal he set, he'd let some people throw a pie at his face, give an entire class an ice cream party for doing some reading thing I can't remember the name of, or if we met some fundraiser number as an entire school, he'd kiss/hold some random animal. Really just some cool shit to motivate students, and by god, did it work. In my 5th grade year, sadly, since he was doing so damn good as a principal, he got promoted to an administrative position of the entire school district. I was happy to see him succeed but also terribly sad to see him go. I'll forever remember that man, he did so much for the school and myself, and he'll forever hold a special place in my heart as the best principal I've ever had the privilege of having as a student.
  • My music teacher decided to surprise our principal in our production of The Wizard of Oz, which was to be performed two nights in a row. She instructed the kid playing Scarecrow to, when handed a high school diploma, say "Gosh, I bet even Dale P [our principal] hasn't got one of these!" but only during the actual performances, not in any rehearsals that Dale could see beforehand. So on the first night, Scarecrow kid did just that, and got some big laughs. On the second night, though... He decided to switch things up a little by yanking open the rolled paper, pointing it towards where our principal was sitting, and shouting, "Take that, DALE !" The whole audience just sorta sat there, very confused, for a few seconds before the biggest of "Anyways," moments from the rest of the cast.
  • The audacity of this kid is just legendary ‘He didn’t see the point in being the principal after I left’

I feel the principal laughing outside sad inside.
  • Lyrics Cy Creek cougars go Big Blue Mr Wells is leaving you 19 years have just flown by Now it's time to say goodbay We're sad that we have to see you go You're numer one! So Mr Wells the end is near It's time to ask "Why are you here?" Your salary is far too small You should have stopped as basketball I'm glad that you finally got a clue 2 decades late! So though I like your grey goatee You look like the guy from KFC Thank goodness you won't be around With that dancing toy James Brown Cypress Creek will finally be Wells-free Yippee! We all know you lost your mind When to motivate students You kissed some swine... Really? So yes, you dressed up like Mozart But the genius here is Jon Cozart So let me end this with a bang... BANG! He is some sort of king in that school because he’s sitting on a throne.

  • @hinataharuna2890
It's nice how a student made a song for his old principle. Some people don't even remember their principles.
  • @antine1279
