The "Why do I go out killing?" Joke is classic.
-
''I hear voices, but I ignore them and just carry on killing.'' Brilliant.
-
The portal to the underworld is a genius bit that saved a very dry section from being cut out! The Director and Producer blessed Sean that day.
-
The speed with which Stephen says “Nurse! Nurse, he’s out of bed again!” in response to Sean’s claim (albeit true) that banana plants walk always gets me cackling.
-
Rorys face when Sean is just mocking him is beautiful, Sean Lock was a legend
-
Sean was a unique human being, greatly missed.

I see Sean as the aggregation of all the funniest drinking buddies that I've ever had. It's just silly humour that in theory anyone could come up with in a goofy moment, but every now and then you perceive the deeper level - and his ability to improvise over and over again shows his skill.

Sean Locke was one of those pure comedians, always about making the most people laugh in any situation. And made it look so natural and effortless.
-
"Sean's aliiive!"...that hit me. Miss his brilliant presence on our TV sets. Thanks for the compilation.
-
The depressed person failing at dolphin therapy part is hilarious! Thanks for the laughs sean!

I always liked Sean Lock, but my respect and admiration for him rose considerably after his 'portal to the underworld' joke that effectively cut off that insufferable Rory McGrath being a self-flagellating bore. Most QI fans suspect that McGrath was the 'unnamed guest' who demanded to know what all the questions would be for each show they appeared on in advance, so they could research them and make themselves look super-clever by apparently knowing almost all of the answers. And, having watched that particular show in full, I can attest McGrath had been smug and very condescending right from the start. Sean was THE ONLY PERSON on that panel who finally stood up to him and knocked him off his pedestal, because Sean was a good man who believed everyone should share the spotlight, not just one self-important prick who thought he was better than everyone else. He could've even been nasty about it, but no - he took the diplomatic route instead, and used humour rather than humiliation so there would be no uncomfortable atmosphere afterwards. The man was a class act, and was taken far too soon.

I "discovered" Sean while watching British quiz shows on youtube. That lead me to his stand-up. The man was truly awesome and was gone too soon.
-
imagine if when they properly read Sean Lock's will, there was a passage that said "okay, I think it should be safe enough now to go dig up all the bodies in the backyard. no matter how many times I confessed, you never wanted to believe me"
-
Loved the way Sean rinsed the pompous Rory .
-
What strikes me mostly about these clips is that Stephen was such a natural host. Probably lots of preparation, a wealth of common knowledge and the grace to let the comedians shine.
-
Thanks for putting this compilation up. Really highlights how good Sean Locke was. Some of the surreal stuff, like on cats dows countdown, but also shows his intelligence too. In ways Rory McGrath will only ever dream of.
-
So sad to lose such a funny man at the peak of his career.
-
One of my favourites was when Stephen asked “what was the most disastrous musical jingle?” And Sean sang “free Myra hindley!” 😄
-
Sean's humor was so abstract and wild but dripping with sarcasm truly unique and one of the few ive seen reduce other comics to giggling wrecks
-
Imagine if in a few years a bunch of bodies turn up and it's proven that Sean did it. And here we have him confessing three times on pretty popular TV shows, in front of a live audience even.
