i remember playing this game on my ipad during high school

It always amazes me how every single one of these reconstructions is the same the Bismarck is accurate within a couple of salvos and after that near misses and the british ships always miss?

I play the lite: My Fleet was Royal Navy 3 warship with 12 x 6 inch gun Vs Scharnhorst My strategy is to outnumber that battleship. Victory but I lost 2 ship and the last...almost crippled.

In this game, the ships played by the computer just do not fight smart and the guns cannot aim as good as a human player does.

I've had the full game on my phone for years. Step one: turn broadside and come to a full stop as this makes step two a lot easier. It's not an accurate portrayal of naval war but you will win. Step two: use the map, with the plot of previous shell hits and adjust your fire with this. It takes a bit of practice but you can paste the AI like this. Using the fall of two salvos, on the chart and looking at your change in elevation you can accurately drop nearly every subsequent round of shots with pinpoint accuracy. Hope this helps. Just tried KGV against Bismarck twice. You would have to be very lucky which I don't think represents that it would have been the case. I think it would be a lot closer.

Poor seamanship to handle two BBs like that. The Brits have 20 big guns (14 inch) vs 8 (15 inch) on Bismarck but still get blown to pieces...???
