Rosie is Red 0:03 It is Valentine's Day on Sodor, which means more post for Percy to pull. Unfortunately, Diesel in playing his cruel jokes bumps Rosie's trucks full of roses which fall all over the docks. When Thomas attempts to stand up for Rosie against Diesel, he gets teased by Bill, Ben and Diesel for Rosie being Thomas' "special friend". This leads to Thomas distancing himself from Rosie and being unkind to her to stop himself from getting teased.
The Water Wheel 8:23 Thomas is given a Water Wheel to take to Tu Zi Quan to replace the old, broken one so as to bring water to the paddy fields. Although Thomas doubts that it looks strong enough, Hong-Mei tells him that it is made from bamboo, which is light but very strong and used for a number of things.
Thomas' Animal Ark 14:02 It is Christmas Eve on the Island of Sodor, and Thomas is busy taking a small goods train down the line while clearing the tracks with his snowplough when he approaches the Sodor Animal Park and finds Headkeeper Jack standing on the platform with one of the park's monkeys. When Thomas asks if everything is alright, Headkeeper Jack explains that the boiler for the animals' winter house has broken down, and without it, the animals that come from warm places like India and Africa won't be able to stay warm during the winter. After Thomas has a daydream about how they could keep the animals warm without the boiler, Headkeeper Jack explains that he sent Emily down to Brendam Docks to pick up the new boiler, but he has been waiting for hours. Seeing as he is on his way down to the docks with his goods train, Thomas offers to check for Headkeeper Jack, and departs for the docks.
What Rebecca Does 21:37 Rebecca is always complimenting everyone on how well they are doing their jobs, for which she makes them feel good about themselves. She soon sees Belle putting out a fire with her water cannons, Marion using her steam shovel at a digging site and Harvey helping Bill and Ben after they get into an accident after their trucks derail, for which she becomes impressed and especially complimented about their abilities (which they are pleased with).
