Inkscape is professional, free, open source Vector Graphics software.

Notes from this tutorial:
⦁ To have objects together, select one of the objects first, then hold down the shift key on your keyboard and select another object.
⦁ You can have as many objects selected as you want using the same procedure. You can then move them, change their colors, size, etc. at once.
⦁ If you click on the Esc key or on any part of the page the objects will be deselected
⦁ To keep the selected objects together, click Object in the menu bar and choose group. The objects will remain together even if you click on an empty space on the page.
⦁ You can also group objects by holding the Ctrl + G in your keyboard.
⦁ To ungroup the objects, select ungroup in the menu bar.
⦁ You can duplicate an object or a group by selecting it and holding Ctrl + D in your keyboard.

I already love these tutorials <3 I need Inkscape to do simple icons and vector drawings but up till now, the unfamiliar and not-really-intuitive interface and tools discouraged me a lot. Now by the looks of it, I'll be ready to make what I need by tomorrow :D. You make it look so simple! Thank you so much for doing this!

Thank you so much for providing these. Finally a tutorial that makes sense to me and I can follow.

For grouping, it's not the "ESC" that re-groups them, you have to double-click outside to get out of single-entity-edit mode and go back to them as being a group.

Thanks for the tutorial! I'm wanting to design my own wallpaper at some point, so that's my motivation to continue watching these tutorials. These are really great, sometimes a bit slow, but they are thorough and extremely helpful!

Thank you so much for these tutorials! They are awesome. For those of us with Macs, instead of Ctrl , use Command. (Command+C instead of Ctrl+C to copy, for example) Instead of alt key, use option key (for example, to select an item that is beneath another item)
