Ya know oddly this is indeed possible, Arlecchino herself stated that her "shadows" lose their memories so she may have indeed tried to fulfill Clervie's wishes only to have had those requests ended in vain, she even stated she was already aware of Clervie to begin with. So Lore wise this could actually be squeezed in as a canonical situation occurring before the Traveler meets the Knave again.
