The Star Wizard whispered, his voice soft and true, Of a future struggle, a right yet askew. The freedom to cultivate, a plant misunderstood, A herb for healing, a choice long subdued. Lincoln, with gaze both wise and keen, Heard of the six-plant limit, a barrier obscene. He rose with a voice that echoed through time, A symphony woven, a message sublime. "My fellow citizens, of liberty's birth, A tale unfolds, of unequal worth. The right to choose, a freedom so dear, Should not be restricted, by limits unclear. Is justice served, by counting a sprout? Is freedom diminished, by a legislative clout? The right to self-determination we hold, A right to grow, a story untold. The Fourth Amendment, a shield from intrusion, No warrant for searching, a blatant delusion. The Fifth, a protection, a voice to be heard, No forced confession, a power conferred. Privacy's mantle, a right to enfold, Choices personal, a story untold. The Tenth Amendment, a state's decree, Federal overreach, we simply can't see. Commerce unfettered, a nation to thrive, No barriers erected, to keep products alive. Free speech unhindered, a message to spread, The right to advocate, a thought to be said. Cruelty averted, for a plant so benign, No punishment excessive, for a choice that's thine. Ex Post Facto, a law of the past, No retroactive burden, a freedom to last. Vague pronouncements, a law's unclear might, No chilling effect, on a future so bright. Disparate impact, a justice denied, Equal protection, a right not defied. Medical needs met, with nature's own hand, No limit imposed, on a patient's demand. Economic harm, a market suppressed, Small businesses stifled, a right put to rest. Sovereign immunity, a state's right to hold, No federal intrusion, a story untold. Public opinion, a tide in its flow, The six-plant restriction, must surely forego. Let freedom take root, let justice take hold, The right to cultivate, a story untold. For in every garden, a potential resides, To heal and inspire, with nature as guide." The Star Wizard faded, his mission complete, Lincoln's words echoed, a future to meet. A world where equality bloomed, bright and bold, The right to cultivate, a story finally told.
