Wirtual: Loses 2 speed Also Wirtual: "In terms of speed, we have no speed."
-
My dad was watching this video with me and he said, “You should make a comment about me watching this video.” … and so that’s what I’m doing
-
19:49 In all the panic, Wirtual doesn't even see the p1 and p2 were a tie to the millisecond, pretty insane round even if 2 of the 4 players made a small mistake

My Grandfather used to tell me about this Cup of the Day. Of course, it happened before I was born, but it's great to finally see it first hand.
-
20:16 it’s amazing how the tension can dissipate so quickly
-
i think the reason wirtuals starts seem slower is he goes wider on turns to pick up more speed its a tactical difference in playstyle
-
This was my first division win ever. My Qualifying time was half a second off WR... for Div 9. What a simple, boring map. But now it has a special place in my memory.
-
Wirtual: I wanna take this first turn super wide to prioritize velocity over optimizing the corner's time Also Wirtual: Why am I hitting the first checkpoint in last place?
-
These simple maps are pretty cool cause it really shows how close the top trackmania players are. Puts a unique pressure on the players to drive flawlessly to get any kind of time save they can.
-
many tend to joke, but wirtual is actually a really really solid player... maps like these, just like A01, that are simplistic in design tend to be exactly those that show the potential of top players. of course its the "top players" of this format of playstyle, as we probably heard a hundred times and more from wirtual "You dont need to get 1st every round as long as you get 1st when it counts.". Thus COTD kinda combines a show of skill and quality of repetition, as in "you need to be good enough to qualify, but you also need to show that you can do it multiple times." While others possibly prefer the prestige of holding a world record or... being in the top 5 on a very prestigious map, which is fine. I on the other hand do really enjoy watching COTD matches, simply because of the previously mentioned requirements it fields for someone to be at the top.
-
i keep forgetting you're not just a streamer but also one of the best players in the game
-
Ultimately, a simple track becomes automatically hard by having you needing to shave of every millisecond
-
"we are maybe not getting div1, i can't even see where to gain time" > almost wins COTD
-
dang, i remember when i was 8 years old and had starter access, i saw this map on the in-game signs and was like "wooow, one day i can play maps like those..." now, im 26, and i have club access. this map brings me back to that day in the simple editor, before i could create scenery, before i could participate in cup of the days. ah, the nostalgia. thank you wirtual for this trip back to the good old days. ❤❤
-
"It's either take risks or go out with slow pace" he says right after a DNF and a four second mistake.
-
This makes me think of the term "cutting corners" and how it makes sense in trackmania terms because if you cut a corner you skip some distance but don't gain much speed.
-
wirtual: where will you even find time here? wirtual: immediately starts finding time
-
19:30 Him having cars on made this moment legendary holy crap
-
There should be a COTD where every round after qualifier, one thing changes per round..ie new obstical, diffrent block... Then when the round is done the change reverts back to how it orginally was and something else changes for the next round.
