    I have had these stealth tailgate latches for a while meant for my 1946 Chevy Pickup restomod. I was holding off as I regularly have trouble setting blind holes. 95% of the time I WILL screw it up. Your vid reminded me of the proper way to transfer those blind holes giving yourself the best shot at getting it right . Thanks so much for reminding me of the compass/scribe technique I kinda knew. But I only do this sort of fab a few times per year. I forgot how to get those blind holes drilled.

    I did the same latches on my 1948 Chevy 3100 show truck ,you made that look simpler than it is. I used Chevy full size blazer rear tail gate cables to hold the tail gate.
