The screen was not directly above, but rather at an angle, just high enough that the host had to crane his neck to see it. The screen looked like a portal to another realm, separated from him by a thin sheet of glass. The host knew he shouldn’t have been able to see the screen. Through the screen, the host saw a man wearing sunglasses, a flannel shirt, and a wide smile. The man muttered to himself, “well, time to see what crazy shit my viewers are going to think of. Can’t wait till they find out they’re about to destroy the world.” A voice started talking back to the man wearing sunglasses, and with a start, the host realized that the sunglasses man was not talking to himself, but rather someone just outside the range of the screen. The Host tried to get closer to the screen, but it moved away from him, following his movements. The image on the screen went black, as text showed up in its place. It read, “awaiting next video. Comments incoming.” The host fell to the ground, gasping for air as conflicting ideas and memories appeared in his mind. His name was David, and he needed to kill dragons, no, he was Jim, and he needed to get home to his job at the waffle house—no, wait, he was Darren, and he had to save this world from the wraith of his own brother Orion. The host laid on the grassy earth, curled into a fetal position as he struggled with his mind. He had to put and end to this madness.

Jim was the former host of waffle house who was usurped 8 months ago and was cast into a portal leading to a magical world. Now with only a smartphone to his name, he must discover a way back home and reclaim his rightful place. The world is filled with many strange new wonders such as hamster powered vehicles, civilizations of skyscraper sized ants, and strange shadows which can warp reality.

She supposedly ran away from home, as no one in her land supported her longing to become a druid. She is loyal and calm-minded. She is a spellcaster and a shapeshifter. Edit: I forgot to mention she is around 100, but she would be around 21 in human years.
