Here's a way too long video I made about Springtrap and why I think he's cool. These pixel art sections too way too long to make.

I remember there being a lot of discussion around why such a methodically-cold blooded killer could be “fooled” by an audio sting of children laughing. But I never really saw it as him being “fooled”. It always felt like more of an involuntary action caused by his very own prison. If you remember, classic animatronics were programmed to always look for an audience whenever they were in an empty room. So whenever the player used said audio, the spring lock suit would do what it was programmed to do, and drag its unfortunate prisoner with it. You can even see this in how he hides in the edges of the camera view, as you can interpret it as William making a conscious effort to impede what the suit is forcing him to do.

The FNAF community constantly pumping out long video essays on why Springtrap is the best horror villian ever (he's not.) Legit there are SO MANY of these exact video essays. I bet if you look up "why springtrap is the best horror villian ever" you'll get hundreds of videos EXACTLY like this one, can people in the fnaf community not think of anything interesting to talk about?
