Imagine training your whole life to beat one dude and he immediately annihilates you.

When you realise they are all just charred and straight up naked.
  • He's been fighting his whole life which is about 50 years. So a couple of kids who trained their whole life (20 years) couldn't stand a chance.

I love the fact jack tried giving them several chances to leave instead of one before killing them. It's the perfect way of the samurai!

If this was an anime, this fight would take 3 months and two filler arcs to complete.

You gotta admire Jacks versatile fighting style. He went from wielding a spear, to a Naginata, to a Butterfly Sword and finally a Kanabo without loosing a step.
  • I know this is a dead horse to beat about at this point, but this show ended better than Game of Thrones
  • @BIGESTblade
They waited for him to catch his breath. It seems they do respect him after all.

Definitely the best way to close off the mini arc within the season. The first 3 episodes of season 5 were just flat out amazing.

The pure symbolic art that went behind the first fight with them and this one. The first was dark with little light, representing both the fact the Daughters had an avantage over Jack, and Jack's lost of "light" or his giving up on hope of achieving his goal. Here, in all/mostly white, he has regained the upper hand and some of his drive to survive.
  • I like how this scene mimics that of Jack vs the Shinobi Warrior. Black and white being used to Jacks advantage.
  • "Shinobi. Warrior of the night. Trained to use the darkness of the shadow. I know your arts as well. But I have been trained to use the light." - Samurai Jack vs Shinobi.
  • @Kagrynac
At 3:08 you've really gotta feel for Jack. He's been fighting for so many years. it's gotta be frustrating.
  • @Evan-od8iw
I love how the whole premise of this scene is Jack using his beautiful natural surroundings to his advantage, and wins. The daughters of Aku, who embraced the darkness and destroys the beautiful world, are disadvantaged by what they rejected.

I love that in Jack’s monologue they don’t just stand there and be quiet, they interact and interrupt him

"...I will give you a new choice: leave here now and live. Or stay, and face your destiny." "OUR DESTINY IS YOUR DEATH!" "So... I guess you're staying...." That's chilling. Jack really didn't want to kill anyone else, but he knows that there's no other choice.
  • @arbknight12
He’s had over 20 years of training and 40 years of actual combat experience. Of course he would have won.

Damn, this show had such a strong final season. And this whole set piece exemplifies all its best qualities
