The first rose James Galloway I think is actually Olivia Austin. James has frilly petals and yours, looks just like my Olivia. I love Eden too! It is so breath taking

Just loved this video showing your beautiful rose garden Laurie! Such a relaxing way to wind down my evening and so inspiring. I have never tried my hand at growing roses but watching your video makes me want to learn! 🥰🌹
  • Such a beautiful video to start my day! Thank you!!! You have become a talented gardener! Shelagh

I love your roses. I've just started buying David Austin roses. I've two . Gertrude Jekyll which I have 3 years. I had it in a pot and it hasn't done too good. So only recently I've put it in the ground. It looks to be doing a lot better. I'd say I'll see a great difference in it next year...🙏I also have Gabriel Oak which is new and not in the ground as yet. Stunningly beautiful roses. I love the Lady of Shallot. Will definitely buy it next. Thank you ❤❤Would love to see your video on training roses to a fence...

I have been slowly working on my DA rose collection. I have the generous gardener and princess Anne. I am planning to buy Boscabel and Queen of Season as bare root this year. Also wanting to get a yellow rose too. But a softer yellow. I also have long watched and considered Lady of Shallot. Would you do a rose care video? Your roses look so healthy and happy and abundant. What do you use to control pests?

Beautiful 😍 I'm thinking about Gabriel Oak too but can’t decides between it anf Fruity Parfuma 🙈 I myself have and love Garden of Roses (Joie de Vivre), Lions-Rose (Champagne Moments) and Peach Melba breed by Kordes ❤

1:50 are you sure it's J Galway? It looks like Olivia to me... Galway has a different shape of the flower with rough-edged petals, this is a clear round bloom which looks identical to Olivia Austin.

Gorgeous. Can I ask what your feeding programme is for your roses? xx

I just came across this video as I was scrolling, (I love gardening), and thought to myself, her picture looks familiar. Then I thought, wait a minute, I also love opi nail polish and am pretty sure I'm subscribed to your nail polish page? Am I right or am I going crazy? Beautiful DA roses, so healthy looking.

I live in Houston tx I bought lady of shalott but just give me few flowers,I think is too hot here!
  • Hi Laurie. Just discovered your channel. Love all the David Austin roses. I have several planted also. What zone or state are you in for comparison? Do you purchase bare root or own root? I've had an issue with a few of my David Austin roses either being tagged incorrectly or they end up blooming another color than what it was originally. So I'm beginning to order own root to make certain the roses end up what they are originally.
  • Such beautiful roses. I also think that your Molineux doesn’t look like Molineux either. Molineux blooms have open center and more orange/ salmon tinted to them. I can’t pin point what kind is it exactly. Kinda looks like Imogen and also Country Parson. You should email David Austin the picture of the blooms to have them verify. Well I could be wrong too 🤷🏻‍♀️😉
  • Your roses are beautiful!!! I have just gotten into the David Austin roses this year and am already obsessed with them. Can I ask where did you buy your obelisk from?
