Konya Vlog | What a Cool Place in Turkey | Part 1

Published 2021-07-12
Konya is known as the most conservative town in Turkey. But can we really feel the difference as travelers and should we act differently?
I this travel vlog we will be discovering this cool and historic Turkish city.
We visit our first mosque, try some new foods and have a walking tour around Konya.

We have been in Turkey for almost two months now, living the van life.
Our journey here is documented in a travel vlog format.
New videos out every Monday and Thursday evening.

  • Mina makes Turkish Coffee great, I trust her. Now he will be Turkish too. No shoes are allowed in any Turkish house. shoes are taken off. You enter the house. Slippers are given to the guests. There is no compulsion in Islam. there is love, respect, kindness, helping, sharing.Welcome to Turkey

Konya is the capital of the Selçuklu Empire. There is so much history and culture. I suggest you to visit the sille. There is the Aya Eleni Church there. You can also see houses carved into the mountains like Cappadocia. There is a dam and picnic areas at the top of the sille. very authentic place. You should definitely go and tour. you won't regret.Don't forget to eat Etliekmek in Konya

  • The name of the cheese you eat is moldy cheese. White cheese is placed in the overalls made from the goat's skin, without leaving any gaps. It stays in overalls for months in cold and dark warehouses and molds itself that way. It is a very healthy cheese. It has penicillin properties. You are very lucky to be able to taste that cheese.
