Thank you for the review, very informative. Got the Asus pg32ucdm few weeks ago, almost perfect as monitors go for me. Quite expensive but now I have the picture quality I have been waiting for oh so many years. And quality will only get better and more affordable as years go by. It's so good to be a PC enthusiast in 2024.

Thank you for this test that I was impatiently waiting for ! I bought this monitor 1 month ago, I am generally happy with it, except for the gsync support which is unusable because of the flickering it causes. I have to disable Gsync and enable vertical sync in games to no longer have this problem. Despite the latest update, there are also some problems with HDR under Windows. It's an excellentmonitor , but it still has some flaws. Dell still needs to fix some issues to make it truly great.
  • I am so interested in your tests of monitors. Thank you for posting this excellent review of the Alienware product. I think the quality of your presentation is outstanding and so, too, is the videography. I often wish I could have a tour of your testing facility and the chance to meet you and your team. I will watch for your discussion of competing monitors such as the MSI product. Since I am a software developer -- on Tier 1 systems, you see, where text is quite common -- I often wonder if a really high end monitor would make a difference to my performance. I'm on the older side and usually watching monitor displays of some kind for 8 to 10 hours per day, sometimes quite a lot longer. Thank you for a very welcome product review and evaluation.

The internal power brick is underrated. Pretty much all the other models have a giant brick to cable manage. It doesn’t have KVM or 90s USB-C but it has good enough usb for phone charging and all the essential connections. The curve is also not really for immersion like an ultra wide it’s for warping reflections from the immediate field of view which is a disadvantage of glossy panels. It looks pretty much flat in use.

I really love your videos, the way you present them is great.

Hello, and thanks for another great and detailed review. My next monitor will most likely be 32inchs for MS FS2020 use. For flight sims this just may be ideal. Thanks again for your efforts.

Been waiting to hear what you think of this one.

Awesome vid love it waiting for u to review 32 inch oled dual mode lg monitor
  • @andreaswoehler26
Thanks for this friendly review. 🙂 I got my AW3225QF three days ago and I love it. The slight curve, the glossy QD-OLED Panel and the eARC feature, wich works perfect with my ELAC Debut ConneX DCB41. The availability and price make it a no brainer over the 32" ASUS and MSI OLEDs. It's a shame to charge these insane prices in Europe. The only concern is the burn-in topic. We will see if this is an issue.

Sound on the video seems bit treble heavy but it could be my end. Thanks for the review. Once >= 38 inch oled ultrawides come out i will buy
  • I am using one of these right now. My Favourite mode is Custom Colour HDR with saturation turned to 65 (except for green on 50), and contrast 100. Full screen brightness, 1 and 10% window brightness differ between HDR modes. I think the HDR 1000 is great for highlights but does lacks the 'perceived' full screen brightness of the other HDR modes, especially when gaming, and is objectively dimmer in the 10% window. Custom Colour HDR is the best HDR 10 mode because of the ability to increase colour saturation.

I think this is a good choice with full housing instead of a back hump , other brands are arduous to get warranty support.

Looking forward to a review of the LG UltraGear 32GS95UE-B that is a competitor of this Alienware monitor.

watching this from my AW3225QF...yup, one heck of a monitor for sure. This one's staying in my setup for yeeeeaars

Use HDR PEAK 1000 BECAUSE it turns off the ABL I've owed this for about 60 days. It's been the best 60 days of gaming of my life. OLED hype is worth it. I have a 7800x3d & a 4080 & I LOVE gaming on this beast. ZERO issues. Also, I don't think mine has a fan because I've NEVER heard it. I turn down the brightness because this monitor is bright. Also, the curve is VERY subtle!👍
  • @ScottStathis
Had mine since they first came out and love it. The only complaint I have is the panel defaults to 120Hz when you I turn it on. To get 240Hz, I have to turn it off then on again. This seems silly to me. The OSD should have a setting available that allows you to set it to 240Hz all the time. But, I haven't found one. Anyway, I still love this monitor despite this one gripe.

I've had mine for about a month now, It's lovely!
