  • You can tell Austin still writes these because anyone else at the office wrote this, they would have made a bigger deal out of the Switch Lite not docking 😂

I just turned 40 and bought the Switch for my birthday. I am so excited. I would have bought one years ago but I have had a lot going on and finally decided -enough is enough, I miss Nintendo. ❤

Bro, I can’t believe the switch is 7 years old. I was 16 when I first bought mine. I’m now 22. Damn, time flies 😂😂😂😂😂😂
  • @KarlRock
It’s still holding up and I’m playing new games on it like Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Although, it is time for an update! I need a little resolution & FPS bump.

You’ve got 7 years of a catalog built up, along with the retro gaming. So if you’re just now getting into the Switch, you’ve got plenty to play. More than enough to keep you busy for years.

I JUST got a switch for my birthday this month. the original OG switch. I have been enjoying it so much.
  • @eyloiw
    can't believe it's already been 7 years
  • One of the things I like most about the switch is the ability to bring couch co-op anywhere you go. The oleds better stand and screen make it much nicer for this.

Bought the Switch Oled Mario edition for myself as a New Years gift. Yes it is worth it (Coming from someone that has the PS5, a Gaming PC and now the Switch) Love it.

Monster Hunter Rise is a very clear example of good optimization. Game is very quick and looks good(for a switch game). Always impressed me how it takes no time to load into another section.

The only switch I have used is the Lite Version. Got it for $130 2 years ago and it still works amazing. Love the Lite!

The SoC in the Switch has to be worth about 50 cents at this point.
  • Probably nobody wants to know that, but HW Legacy got updated and runs FAR BETTER in the open world environment. In the meantime Arkham Asylum got an update that (mostly) fixed the stuttering while running. Also, Turn Me Up stated that they're actively working on City and Knight patches and they're coming soon

I just bought a switch lite two days ago Since I never had a switch, the lite will let me enjoy what I missed without spending much, and when the switch 2 is released, I'll be able to experience these games in a TV.
