PETER CUSHING!!!! You were so mean I could scarcely recognize you!!!!!! Andre Morrell (as Quatermass) and Anthony Bushell (as Colonel Breem) were uneasy partners in the BBC 1958 classic"Quatermass and the Pit" Lovely Patricia Medina was the fiery tango partner of Anthony Dexter as Valentino in 1951 film "Valentino" And Lawrence Naismith beautifully played emperor Franz Joseph of Austria Hungary in BBC's 1974 "Fall of Eagles" What a great cast for this film.

I’m glad I found this again, great movie and love Alan Ladd, one of my favorite actors….👍❤️🙏🏼

Alan Ladd was always worth watching. A nice actor and in movies which were pure entertainment, and some of them classics like Shane (1952), This Gun For Hire (1942), and some others very very good like Captain Carey U S A (1949), Branded (1950), The Big Land (1956), Boy On A Dolphin (1957), The Proud Rebel (1958), The Carpetbaggers (1963), and so forth. I have loved him all my life. God bless him
  • My Dad was rescued by Patrick Throughton during WWII in the North Sea. My Dad was shot down piolit of a B-17 and ditched in the North Sea Aug. 25. 1944. When the Second World War began, he returned home on a Belgian ship which struck a sea mine and sank off the coast of Great Britain, Troughton escaping in a lifeboat. In 1940 he joined the Royal Navy and was commissioned as a Lieutenant with the R.N.V.R., being first employed on East Coast Convoy duty from February to August 1941, and then with Coastal Forces' Motor Gun Boats based at Great Yarmouth from November 1942 to 1945. During his service with the M.G.B.'s he was on one occasion involved in an action against Kriegsmarine E-boats which resulted in one of the enemy craft being destroyed with ramming, whilst Troughton's boat and another destroyed two more with their gunfire. His decorations included the 1939-45 Star, and Atlantic Star, and he was Mentioned in Dispatches. He used to wear a tea cosy on his head in cold weather in the North Sea.

I love this version of the Black Knight, and Allen Ladd. How I love old movies, and all the actors I missed. This one and others I watched many of them and many times with my parents. This brings back a lot of good memories…..thank you. 👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️. What I like about these movies….NO CGI OR AI INTELLIGENCE, just good story, good actors/actresses live performances combined with awesome photography skills….👍❤️🙏🏼. Today’s society is too engrossed in technology and has forgotten what family means in a child’s life and future generations. Instead of talking with someone, it’s more in texting than talking together in person, and a lot of it can be false information. 🤔😢😡

It's great to hear british Elton Hayes singing over the credits. ❤
  • @Kojoanna
Hardly recognized Peter Cushing. It was a good adventure film and as always Alan Ladd added the handsome face to the film❤

Almost a Hammer Film with its regulars Peter Cushing, Andre Morell and Patrick Throughton in the cast. Very much a kids adventure picture but nice production values, good British cast led by Americans Alan Ladd and Patricia Medina. Interesting that the art direction was by two of the greats - John Box (many of David Lean`s films) and Alex Vetchinsky.

Thank you, loved it! It's like the " old days " watching movies.
  • THESE ARE WONDERFUL COLOURFUL GREAT PRINT MOVIES TO REMEMBER AND WATCH, THANK YOU.
  • WOW!! Thank you very much for posting this Awesome movie! i wish that the movies that are made today would be like this. :)
  • Cushing as a Sarazen, good makeup job as he was lily white. And rare to see him as a villian.Morrell excellent in the part. 3 Hammer stars, I was hoping to see Michael Ripper popup in a small role. And Ladd at 5ft 6, as the Black Knight, not bad.😊
