I've wanted a projector for quite some time now and I finally pulled the trigger on an Optoma GT1080 ‑ Portable 3D 1080p DLP Projector and I think it's going to be a great move! Im just getting started with this and will follow this video with a complete setup overview.

Thanks for sharing, I just discovered about projectors in this capacity only a month ago and got this same Model but the Darbee edition, I don't why anyone would want a TV after seeing this, although I am glad projectors are not too popular because they would start jacking up in price!

What about daily use? A tv is used 5-6 hours daily maybe more.. how much can you ise the projector? Is not overheating?
