Witness testimony continues Tuesday in the murder trial of Karen Read, a woman accused in the death of her Boston police officer boyfriend. Read's defense team argues she is the victim of an elaborate cover-up and is being framed by a group of people that includes law enforcement while prosecutors claim she hit officer John O'Keefe with her vehicle during a snowstorm in 2022.

  • This is a drunken hit and run. But Karen Read is pointing the finger at her friends that tried to help her. she is a horrible person.

"Framed?" That’s a pretty strong allegation coming from the defense! That would lead one to conclude the officers are attempting to "stitch her up" purposely and indicates foul play on the part of law enforcement. Can’t wait to hear the defense and what proof they have to allege such a thing!

It's irritating that you wish to protect their privacy. By blurrying his/her face.

Well, the fact that the police officers collected evidence in red solo cups and stored them in In a grocery bag next to her car. And not in an evidence locker, at least that's what it seems from the evidence that's been shown in court. They're either framing. Her or they're just really bad cops.
