Do you also love old-fashioned vintage bikes? 🚲🕰
  • @SkyhawkSteve
Still riding a few lovely steel bikes with Campagnolo Nuovo and Super Record parts. Fast enough for riding with my friends, and no worries about batteries running out of charge. I do have a 42 x 24 low gear to get me up the hills in style, though! (mostly 6% or less)
  • Job requirements for GCN presenters: 1. Must be a cycling enthusiast (riding and/or watching) 2. Must be willing to travel 3. Being able to hold a discussion while riding in Zone 5+ is considered an asset. Kudos to Si and Ollie for being able to talk while doing those climbs.
  • The Hotta looks great,it's aged well but vintage bikes are awesome, they have so much character.💯👌🏻🚴‍♂️✌🏻

I have been enthralled with "English Racers" since i was a child. Got my first one when I was about 13. Now at 68 I thought this quite the history lesson.
  • @Loremipsum555
The pantani bit nearly put a tear to my eye. Yes, drug enhanced, but also, a man fastest up a mountain on his own power. On a bike pre-electric and carbon. Never to be repeated, never to be matched. Legend.
  • @07storck
I still have my Hotta but I fitted mine w/Specialized Tri-spokes frt & rr.
  • @238949
And again! Love these compilations , thanks GCN
  • @WendsH
Thank you so much for including my favorite in this compilation: Ollie on the Canning-special, exclaiming that after flipping the wheel his gearing feels 'positively MAGICAL!!' It's almost as lovely listening to his griping as it was watching Lasty's pain face.

Still love my Cervelo SLC-SL. A bit like triggers broom, all that remains is the frame and seat post. Everything else upgraded over the years. Shimano Ultegra Di2 now with Zipp 404 and Hambini racing BB.
  • @suhdud4646
If I could ride or own any bike from this list it would be the updated Hotta and Jan Ullrichs Not Giant. Both are works of art.
  • @kevspss
My last bike was a Scott Tinley Tri-Lite, talking about antique. lol
  • @cycleistic1365
Every bike from the last year or older than that are already retro which is a recommendation to upgrade post-haste. (Source: bicycle industry)

Didn't they say that it was a "Lotus 108" at the beginning, the call it a 110 later in the episode ???
