So it turns out my truck never even had a blown head gasket! Even though the dealers mechanic and my current mechanic at the time said it was. They both didn't do a leak down test or did do one and didn't show me the numbers. The third mechanic was able to diagnose what it was and proved it wasn't the head gasket.

It ended up being a little blow-by on cylinders 2 & 3 but nothing to be worried about!

    You got a Miata? I had a 99. Most fun car I've ever had. It had 143,000 miles but the Engine ran like brand new. The 5 speed manual was super easy, but it needed one more gear, which they put in a couple of years later. I sold it because I couldn't drive it with the top up. The noise was unbearable. So I couldn't drive it in the rain. ☹️
