One thing I’ve learned while watching others go through this process is that you shouldn’t put to much emphasis on a home being your “first” home with the intention of buying a 2nd home. This thought process may work for some but too many people end up settling for houses that really aren’t suitable for them because it’s their “first” home and they believe they will get better later. You never know what will happen to you financially, physically or whatever and the first home becomes your forever home because you can’t afford to get another. Gotta find a happy medium and really do you research. Selena’s leg work will definitely pay off Edit- I’d like to see the home as it’s being built.

This whole process seems to be fun, but also stressful and very time consuming. But it’s amazing to see how different every apartment is and how things like floor plan, windows, colors and such things can change the entire vibe of a home. I enjoy these videos so much.

I don't live in Oregon but girl let me tell you how grateful I am to sit here & watch you through your purchasing house journey. This is so unique and interesting. I appreciate how well you elaborated on your decision-making and how open you are about the changes that have come to realize what is important for your first home! Can't wait to see the updates you have for us!

I would suggest gradual videos as the building progresses. I was an avid follower of the abandoned mansion videos and it was super exciting to see what was happening as it happened. I am so proud of you Selena, you are not even 30 yet and doing what most couples cannot seem to do in America. I know this is a stressful time but you have grown so much over the span of time I've been a viewer and I was literally crying with happiness for you. If I was in your shoes I would be elated and just so beyond proud of myself. You deserve all the happiness and good vibes coming your way and I cannot wait for the new content you're going to share, girl decorating videos, organizing videos, moving in, empty tours, this is such a huge step for you and I'm glad you are sharing this experience with us. Congrats! I would love to see the building process! Especially if you customize/upgrade anything or even if you visit the site and write any scriptures on the pillars before the drywall goes up. I’m so happy for you and thanks for sharing because I’m 27 too and I definitely want to be a homeowner one day as well 💛

Lucky #13!! The new build house in the up and coming neighborhood is my pick! It would be a great investment. I see it like the one in your “dream neighborhood” that skyrocketed when the amenities were finished. This one will be worth way more when the area is built up! Especially near the highway!
