why do Christians fear 666?

When I was a Freshman in Highschool I opened a Locker in PE Class with the number 666 because I was stupid and I felt a lot of Dark Energy after I opened it I immediately changed lockers and it is one of my biggest regrets because I would not even open it if I knew that would happen because I don't know what spirits was in that locker

It’s important to read the word in context and allow it to speak for itself. Pay attention to the words being used. The mark happens during the great tribulation. The body of Christ/the Church wont even be here(1 Thessalonians 4:16-18) to be able to receive the mark.

When I was a non- Christian I was surprised that the number 666 was in the Bible. I thought that it was used as something random but it is not.

Hey Stephanie! I really enjoy your videos. My thought on this is that we may already have the mark of the beast 666. The human body is made up of 5 elements and one of them is carbon. The carbon atom is composed of 6 protons, 6 electrons and 6 neutrons which equates to 666. Revelation 13:18 says "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." It's the number of a man. I'm wondering if our DNA was changed when Adam and Eve ate of the fruit in the Garden of Eden? Did Lucifer put his mark on us. Is this why Jesus said in John 8:44 "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do". Could it be this is why we need to be "Born again" in order to be saved?
