I saw a meme about the lapras extinction thing, someone posted “As a kid, I continuously breed, hatched and released Lapras because I read in a dex entry that they were going extinct” and then it shows the Pokémon moon dex entry saying they were saved, and then someone put that clip from Jurassic park that said “You did it, you crazy son of a b*tch you did it”

Fun fact: In the Pokemon manga Arboks versions were shown and mentioned and Agatha had one that can switch its patterns to get stronger for example one pattern for speed boost and another pattern for Defense boost etc

11:20 I can answer this one The power-save belt is a necessary precaution for Machoke due to the fact that their “immeasurable” physical strength is not only a threat to others but to themselves and need to be regulated in healthy intervals however there are instances where Machoke willingly remove the belt in order to face truly mighty opponents Its one of those situations where just because you can have all the power in the world doesn’t mean you need it

Poliwhirl did the whole "frog that can do the breaststroke and front crawl" thing back in 1995, 19 years before One Piece's Water 7 arc, where the sumo frog can do the breaststroke and the front crawl. One Piece was either inspired by Poliwhirl or else there's some kind of inside joke about frogs that can swim that I don't know about in Japan...
