2016 Scarab Wake 255 HO 500HP

I'm an old school jet boater...not hard core but coming from a Glastron Carlson CVX20...with a 460 and the Berkley drive....hard to think of it as a "Jet boat" without the sound of that big block. This boat is soooooo much nicer in many ways (keeping in mind it's 40 years newer technology). Much more efficient....much nicer fit and finish....though for my money, nothing had a better look combined with the menacing sound as the Glastron Carlsons. That being said....I like this boat a LOT. The whine of the super chargers is a nice touch too....

I've seen the max mph doesn't change between the twin 400 hp option and 500 hp option. Is this a misprint? What's the msrp for this model you are test driving in the video?

Sounds just like my Chap 243 vortex. There must be boat supplier that supplies generic parts to almost all the boat manufacturers because the table mount looks the same and the captain's chair is the same shape, but different color vinyl.

Doesn't come close to comparing with a v-drive wake surf boat in either wake wave shaping or quality.
