About The Spawn Of El Diablo:
In 2012, Michelle Jewell documented one of the largest great white mating scars ever recorded. Recently similar marks have appeared, leading her to believe this is a possible mating ground and that mega-shark El Diablo has returned to South Africa.

  • i have an ancient contract with sharks, i dont swim in their ocean so they dont walk down my street.
  • The lady constantly screaming made this more difficult to watch
  • @brojajacra
Wish they would stop all the screaming and fake excitement and just show sharks as they really are
  • @bigt9063
You'd think she was just a tourist seeing Great Whites for the first time.
  • @jmmywyf4lyf
It would be great if this went back to being shark education, and information, istead of celebrity promo week, with some stock shark footage....

Just love how she talks normally with a traditional regulator in her mouth.
  • This segment confirmed what I've suspected for quite some time, That is, they add the dialogue in post production for dramatic effect. We hear all the supposedly "real time" commentary from the girl in the cage, but all the time you can see she's wearing a normal scuba regulator, NOT a full face mask with built-in comms. system (for the benefit of non diver's, it's impossible to speak through a normal regulator). I noticed this on other Shark Week show's where even times they used full face masks, the "live" commentary sounded suspiciously fake as the typical breathing sounds you would normally hear were absent, or drastically reduced.

What you need to do is get William Lyman back asap to narrate shark week, dump the celebrity trash, and get back to sharks!!
  • the ability to talk underwater with normal scuba gear always gets me 🤣🤣
  • 🦈 I wish that they did two weeks of shark week instead of one week, can't help but love it and it rocks. This episode was truly epic and awesome to see, can't wait to see rest of the episodes for shark week.

Guys you have one of the coolest jobs on this planet! I watch these videos all the time. These sharks on this video are just awesome. Keep these videos coming.
  • Shark knows that this isn't a shark because of a few factors one no electric field that would normally be giving off. Also, there is no reaction after they bit that dummy/shark?
  • @justinwlm9934
It seems to be important to scream as loud as you can when you see a shark
  • @jameswalls705
I JUST LOVE SHARK WEEK & WISH IT WOULD LAST LONGER THAN A WEEK!!!
  • @mtjeeves1234
The "massive shark" that was smaller than the decoy, and all that screaming lol.
  • @1492tomato
Those sharks weren't fooled for a second. They bit it, but I guarantee it wasn't because they thought it was another shark. I've watched shark week since its inception and it's getting pretty clear they're scrounging for sensational gimmicks.
  • Ok...her reactions are a bit over the top...seemed a bit of acting.
  • @metarra
She's worried about affecting the shark's behavior... but she'll scream and yell.
  • @jimrogers2089
I gave up at 3:10 when they cut from an amazing shot of "Jaws" popping his head out of the water with his jaws wide open to a guy going "oooh". Whoever edited this must have been drunk...pull away from a beautiful shot of this beast to show a guy in a boat..😶😖
