yom kippur war was a war that begin in 5th of october in 1973 and ended in 25th of october . it was fought between arabs and israelis and it ended with arabian victory with egypt advancing in the suez canal and restoring sinai with force but sinai was restored after camp david agreement 1978 and egypt fully restore sinai in 1982 but on the syrian side the syrian couldn't restore golan heights because they refused to make a peace agreement with the israelis and golan heights remained under israeli influence
