"She's hiding her other hand so nobody can hold it" that's so sweet.

I feel so bad for Chiquita, I understand why she’s so scared, being abandoned as a baby and then the figure she saw as a mother was walking away from her. But they have to learn ❤️

Avery: Starts walking away... Chiquita: So you want me to die?
  • Orangutan babies stay with their mothers for seven to eight years, so it is understandable at just three years of age that she wants to stay with her human mother. Thank goodness there are kind, loving and understanding humans there to help her. What a tragedy that it is necessary.

Wait till she's teenager, she'll be so embarrass by her Mom that she won't even let her touch her in public.

"Naughty girl" I don't know why, but the absolute authenticity of the exhaustion in her voice gets me

I’m suprised how deep the human motherly instinct is ingrained in us cause as soon as I heard Chiquita scream I was like “heck find the noise make it stop, pick it up and start rocking” I’m never like that with human babies. But as soon as I heard her I knew something was wrong

IDK why, but I've been on an oragutan kick for the last few weeks. Just love them. They're so adorable and entertaining. They all look like little old men.

I remember getting separated from my mother in a department store. I was around 4-5 years old. I was scared. I remember the sense of panic. My mom said I was missing from her for about 10 minutes, it seemed like hours to me. I know exactly what those orangutans are feeling, they don’t want to lose their sense of security and love.
  • I love when she hid her other hand so no one else could have it! What an adorable animal. I love watching these, they always warm my heart and put me in a good mood ❤️🤗
