I have really enjoyed following Don's comedy, but :: HOLY WAH !! He's the real deal!! MS Stanford!!! Chips designed!!! Chuckle along as you will, this guy has a proven track record of actual smarts and accomplishments. To me, this makes his key points even more funny. You go, Don, and Thank You.

Superb. There is one other comedian that uses PowerPoint though: Dave Gorman

Iā€™m 80, I was in college when they used slide rules. The engineer majors always had slide rules attached to their belt. The double E majors (Electrical Engineer) were really weird but so smart.

I wish I had this a few years back when I was teaching MS Office Products. Great and useful presentation.

Don, you need to come to Midland, MI the home of Dow Chemical. Most of the population here are engineers.
  • Funny stuff. Iā€™m a computer nerd but I totally understand engineers šŸ˜Š

As a retired engineer I'm embarrassed to admit I've made all those mistakes. I've watched some of his others videos and get a chuckle from them.

Spot on, once again! šŸ‘Œ (Ok, well, within +/- 1 ppm)

Imagine not uploading the power point online after the show and sending everyone a link. The first crowded slide is already what I notice at engineering school class seminars. It's like people weren't taught you have presenter notes nowadays for power point and you don't have to write all of your sentences on the slide. People can't follow your talk and get tired out trying to read it and then just start ignoring the presentation.

Where is your pocket protector and slide rule? šŸ˜€ (Purdue '84, CWRU '87, '89)

You could show this in a school. Really educational.
  • There is an English comedian with multiple seasons of his own comedy TV show Modern Life is Goodish and it is all done with Powerpoint

Great reprise. Loved it when you first did this -- still love it. You da man.

dont forget what an older video of yours included! 1 message for the whole slide. wanna do 2 messages? put each in their own slide not more than 6 objects on a slide, and brain is happy the powerpoint's point is to make it easier to follow what youre saying, as in just include important notes that are easy to follow. the detailed info is supposed to be you talking, or you might aswell just send em the powerpoint and meeting's over

Did those bullet-points come from a machine gun?
