he is consistent with the scriptures on marriage , and this is evident; aswell he is speaking accurately on the context of Matthew 19, many who call themselves Christians are lost on this subject and therefore are greatly powerless to build up and reconcile what God desires them to.
  • I've just been listening to David in 1980 , talking about Christians in government , and I thank God for Jacob Rees Mogg. I'm not a catholic but I admire his strong faith and hes right where he should be at the heart of government. God bless him . ! K

Thank You Lord for teaching me this early!
  • The logic is brilliant. The guidance is wonderful, and his excavating of the word is to be commended.
  • 1 Corinthians 7:10 To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. 11 But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.

I could listen to him all day long. Simple, and to the point.

God bless your heart Mr. Pawson. Never heard such preaching and truth like this 🤗

All he is saying is that the church start preaching in this issue of divorce. The church's aren't saying anything and this is damaging marriages. Some people don't read their Bibles as much as others but they enjoy attending church. If this was preached about more often, it would possibly convict those who were contemplating divorce. One wants a big house and Mercedes, while their partner doesn't really care about those things. Should Christians get divorced because of worldly things. Well, they do and that's sad and selfish. Remember the parable of the sower And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. Luke 8:7 KJV And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. Luke 8:14 KJV Materialism is destroying marriages

Ive never been married, Im born again (really born again) not bc i said a prayer.....anyway every time I meet a Christian woman and hope for a promising future and then find out she was divorced - i immediately end the relationship. Not sure if Im doing it right, but I don't want to live in sin, marrying someone that could curse me bc they were in a previous marriage and divorced against GODs law.
  • Romans 7 By law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law that binds her to him. 3 So then, if she has sexual relations with another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress if she marries another man

this is probably the best video, on this subject.....this individual seems to be spot, on, on his teachings....and as such....the go to person, on anything Biblical...
  • Mark 10:5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the HARDNESS of your HEART HEEEEE (MOSES) wrote you this precept….Do hard hearted people get into heaven? No, its unforgiveness and unbelief in their hearts. It covers one’s garment with violence and hands with BLOOD!….
  • This is beautiful, thanks for sharing this. This helped me make an important life decision.

Understanding what the Bible REALLY says about divorce is almost impossible unless you're familiar with Hebrew terms and concepts absent in Christianity, such as 'Agunah'. Time and again, I've found that Christian pastors often miss the true teachings of the Bible on this topic. I highly recommend Dr. Eitan Bar's short book, "Christian and Divorced: What the Bible REALLY Says About Divorce & Remarriage." He is a Jewish-Christian fluent in Hebrew. After reading about 20 different books on the subject, this one stands out as the best. I was even an early reader of it.
  • @sarahvministry
Ha I never realized how funny he was. But as for the doctrine, on point!
  • This is wonderful preaching, thank you for the insightful words of wisdom.

So if your husband or wife physically and emotionally abuse you and your children you cannot divorce. you must stay and submit to the abuse and endanger your children becauseif if you divorce you the innocent victim, who has to leave due to no fault of your own becomes an adulterer ? A lot of people leave if their well being is being endangered.

Ok so at about 22 minutes he says he doesn’t believe we are under Moose’s law? But yet mentioned the 10 comments which are from Moose stating do not commit adultery which he mentioned is part of a marriage covenant, which is under the law in Moose’s time. Can’t be both ways. So we are to forget all the comments because they are in Moose’s time?
