Sturgeon River Campground Informational Tour with some great footage of the campground and surrounding area. Sturgeon River Campground is located in the Ottawa National Forest in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. There is a ton to do in the area and the campground was very nice. This campground is free, offers a vault toilet but no water or garbage.

Keep in mind this campground was full at least half the time we were there so you may want to make alternate plans just in case. Also it can get very buggy, overall it is a gorgeous place to camp.
