Fun mineral facts for the Intern (and comments): 1. Cinnabar is a mineral made with mercury, and yes it is toxic to touch. Yes, it is red. 2. Antarcticite is an actual mineral with chemical composition calcium chloride hexahydrite. It is named because it was first described in Antarctica when it just so happened to manifest.
