Eliud is such an 80s kid. The note taking, reading, staying connected, jotting down ideas, tea, & sticking to one colour pens. I love it!

guy is on lock every second of every day. He's like the most streamlined human ever. Everything is crisp, clean, smooth. Love it.

I think I'm more impressed with how he thinks up new ideas while running...the only thing going through my mind while running is "DON'T DIE!!" 😭😭🥺

Me: I will never allow myself to be persuaded by celebrity endorsements Kipchoge: You should buy this shoe, it's very comfortable Me: Okay :)

I’ve been running 7 days a week for the past 23 years, and am up to 62 full marathons. I relate to Eliud so much with all of these things. Especially his philosophy. I’m not naturally suited to be a runner genetically. Probably better for me to be a wrestler or football player. But I don’t care. I like running, and always want to do it anyway, and keep improving. I also believe that nothing is impossible if you just keep trying and set your mind to it. I’ve been trying to qualify for the Boston Marathon now for all 23 years I’ve been running, and still haven’t gotten it. But I absolutely will eventually. I’ve come within just 3 minutes of it a few times. And when I do it will be even more meaningful than ever. There are times that I just wish that I had the raw talent that some elites have. But then some of these thing likely would be as special when I achieve them. So I just keep going. 🏃🏻♂️

This man is an inspiration for me and the humility that he has is one of a kind. I’ll run my first marathon in Mexico City the 28th of November 2021 and I expect it to finish it in 4 hours! Wish me luck.

You can tell this man has his priorities straight within the first minute. His line of communication starts with his family first. Teammates second, then business third.
-
He just gave the absolute perfect Nike shoe pitch in 15s using less than 10 words. Better than any commercial featuring everyday runners in black and white with empty catch words like inner freedom, exceeding limitations or reaching wellbeing.
-
I would pay gazillions to attend his masterclass. Such a humble yet disciplined athlete. He makes us proud to be Kenyans 🇰🇪🇰🇪
-
Now he is a man that kids should be looking up to! Not because of the running but because of his humility and pure soul. Such an inspirational Guy!
-
Finally yall got someone who is actually a inspiration on here

This man is so wholesome and humble.
-
How refreshing it is to see someone on this show, that has ACTUAL ESSENTIALS instead of just showing off their wealth 🤡

This was the most humble and simple GQ interview ever. Love this man!
