    I was abused by adoptive mum growing up in the 90’s. She beat me, starved me, and other stuff. This song used to trigger me so bad when I was a teen until one day a friend got me to see a new perspective. To know that anger was mine and justified, that I wasn’t the one who did anything wrong. He helped me feel worthy again, and this song became my focus when the anger and pain built up I still cry occasionally when I play this song, but I know it’s more healthy to let that pain out Thank you Disturbed for putting the words out there for us!

    I don't listen to metal but I had this in my headphones during Chemo treatments. Stage 4 Cancer. I'm now in remission. ❀ It meant something different to me. But it helped me mentally and being positive and hopeful helps. Thanks!

    His voice is incredible. Not just for singing but also for speaking. It’s intense and has the timber and richness. Very rare to hear outside of professional voice actors.

    I will never forget the 1 in a billion chance meeting I had with David a few years back I mean never! I was all grumpy from having to go to Ala Moana shopping center here in Hawaii walking from the parking lot to the sidewalk I notice David and his wife walking out of a really high end clothing store with a "few" bags I kept looking at him he noticed me staring at him I remeber I said "Disturbed" he read my lips and nodded his head! He walked over to me asked me if i lived here in Hawaii and if I could recommend any really good places to eat l? Dude was so cool never gonna forget him telling me he's not on vacation and that this was his real job carrying bags for his wife lol!! He's a really cool guy really down to earth. He even stopped in at a guitar shop a friend of mine owns and he's a huge fan of this band. David is just awesome!

    I never was a huge Disturbed fan but I saw them live here in Houston Tx last weekend and now I have a new respect for them. I was blown away from their performance. Simply amazing.

    Disturbed will always be one of my favorite live bands, because David always sounds the same live as he does in his studio produced albums. He truly has one of the greatest voices of all time.
