All the Heartbreakers can sing, but everyone is looking at Mr Winwood... that voice... Love it.

This is one of those songs that you hear while driving down the highway and life is as good as it can get.
  • Steve's one of the most talented people and well balanced musical artists of all time. A great musician, top notch vocals, and wonderful songwriter. Very humble and unassuming!
  • Music back then was soooo much better than the crap they call music of today! Hopefully we can all find our way back home and music will be music again!!!

Love how they show so much respect to Winwood during the performance. Petty & Campbell are legends in their own right, but they get it.

There's no song for me that's more evocative of that era, every time I hear it I get chills and flooded with emotion. A masterpiece.
  • I cry when I hear this. I cry when I see Tom playing. I miss him like no other. Family has disappointed and hurt me all my life. But because these musical legends and talents aren’t my friends or family, they are the closest people to me. They never disappoint. I think this rings true for many. Tom had it all - talent, wit, humility, kindness, sensitivity, confidence and looks and more. I miss him so much. So thankful I got to hear him 4 times since coming to know who he was in 2006! Even my favorite Beatle and Bob D loved him. Says so much about the man. Steve ranks right up there. Heard him open for TPATH in Houston. ❤️

I love how Tom Petty, just let Stevie take over, he didn't have the big ego that needed to be fed, and didn't try to get the spot light, a true proffesional and host. RIP Tom, miss you

Steve Winwood conjured some kind of musical magic when he wrote this song. It still shines through 45 years later in this performance. Tom & his band mesh perfectly with him. Can you imagine hearing your audience singing the words of your song along with you? Steve, very humbly, just plows through it soulfully, with no acknowledgement, a true professional. This is a timeless presentation of a classic.

Steve Winwood.... what a voice. As good now as in the 60s. A true legend.

Mike Campbell making Steve smile, trading licks, Tomjust spacing-out enjoying....what a joy to listen, watch

As a teen I played this album so many times it wore out. Best song ever.

I had the privilege of seeing Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers at the Tacoma Dome many years ago. He had a huge stuffed Kodiak bear onstage and a totem pole. The concert was awesome! I will never forget it. RIP Tom
  • Steve winwood was 15 years old when he started singing for the Spencer Davis group That's how long he's been a great musician

In my humble opinion, Steve Winwood was the best songwriter/performer to come out of the whole ''British Invasion.'' He was on a different level than all the rest. His songs/singing were almost of another world.

This is when the music was more important than the dance steps.

If you don’t feel this song in the depths of your soul, music must not be your thing ❤
  • I was at this concert great show. It was a father day present from my kids. We were all there.
