The Castiglioni Brothers would be proud to see this survivor ๐๐ผ

I can go on... Listen how clean that motor sounds. No rattling. Well made bikes. And they look modern even today.
-
The Italians killed all the Japanese and even Euro 250s with these! Such works of art and built to perform not generic at all! And that sound...the way a 2 stroke expansion chamber and silencer should be!!!
-
I miss Cagiva! In 1986 I had the Enduro Elefant 125 at 16 and comuted to high-school every day in Rome Italy. Your review is awesome!

Super happy u did this video I'm in middle of restoring my 1990 husqvarna wmx250
-
One of the sweetest sounding 250 I have ever heard! NIIIIIIICE!
-
Takes me awhile to catch up on all these awesome videos from Kaplan's. The Cagiva bikes are no slouch. Top quality machines. I had the 86 WMX 125, and wish I still had it. Great bikes!
-
Been there, rode those. Yes, fast. Husky used that motor for MANY years.
-
I myself have an 88 wmx 250 and a 91 husky wmx 125 = and must say the best bikes I have ever ridden !!!!!! Great video ๐

Just look at it!

Loving the Cagiva with the WP suspension! It sounds perfect. Looks pristine as well.

Never did see one of these in the flesh, but there was this rich kid that had a Montesa 360, and apart from the guy with the Ossa and another kid with a CZ that Monty was the most exotic bike of the bunch in Stonington in '76 when I had my Elsinore...my God there was a whole gang of us Dave with his TM400, Sick Mick with his YZ400, Bucky with his RM250, me with my Honda, this other kid with the Coffin-Tank Big Bore Maico...we were legion!
-
Yep, that looks exactly like my 1987 Cagiva 125 did except it was red. Very cool looking bike! Funny, it sounds a lot like my 125 did. I thought Cagiva was going to really take off like GASGAS, but you don't see Cagiva's anymore. I'd put this gem on display and not ride it.

Fantastica cagiva!! Castiglioni!Giovanni. Varese! ๐๐ป

Cagiva with Vehkonen and Strijbos in the mid too late 80's oh boy โ๐ช

Absolute beauty.. I always wondered as a 10 year old in 1988 watching these rip around and why they had the chain and sprockets on the other side. Personally I think they nailed it as both brakes are on the same side. Another stunning bike๐๐

That's a beautiful bike. Awesome condition, amazing work. I want 1 bad. lol have a great day .aye

Mine was a factory bike. My brother in law rode for them in 88' for a bit. Morielli did the porting and was his mechanic while he was there. Then he gave me the bike. Rode it for a year. Was very fast. Wheelbase felt short. You had to loctite everything. Base materials were high quality.

Nice, sounds sick! Happy early Thanksgiving Kap
