Embassy: Operation Steel Wind
Rescue the 2 hostages.
This is the probably the most iconic map in the entire Rainbow Six franchise. There are 2 hostages, one in the basement, the other on the top floor. Stay away from the large twin staircase room, there is no need to enter this dangerous section. Rescue the basement hostage, then free the 2nd hostage.
Start by sending your 2 three men teams round each side of the embassy. With the use of smoke make entry and eliminate the terrorists within these areas. Your 2 man squad will neutralise the guards who patrol the other side of the embassy. Now send a team downstairs and rescue the hostage in the basement.
The other hostage is held in a bedroom on the top (2nd) floor. Using the fire escape ladders located of the outside of the embassy building, send two teams up there and eliminate all terrorists on this floor. To ensure the safety of the hostage, you need a team to clear and guard the doorway leading into floor 1- the noise the hostage makes can alert the nearby guards. Safely lead the hostage to the extraction zone.
Note, in this video door charges are used to gain access to the upper floors. This was done because under a single plan, the AI could not open these doors by themselves. The only way around this glitch was to blow the doors off. (Red team has to swap team leader for this as the 2nd man holds the door charge, after this is done, Ding Chavez swaps back to team leader.)
