Considering Jin always avoided Xiaoyu, him opening up to her shows that he realized that by pushing away those he cares about, it does more harm than good, leading him to finally realize how much they matter to him. It's a real emotinonal character moment for Jin, that by pursuing hatred, he pushed away those who cared about, leading him to finally realize that by letting them in, he actaully heals. It just shows how love does indeed defeat hate. That was propably the point of Jin's character, realizing how much hatred can cost you, but by letting the people you love help you, you discover something important.

Harada fed the shippers well with this game: Jin and Xiaoyu, Lars and Alisa, even Jun and Kazuya weren't left out.

I love that when Jin says he wants to live he thinks of being with Xiaoyu. Being with her is living to him. That’s why we see them together at the end on a road trip - that’s his happiness. (Realized this scene is not in this video but it is in the final fight in the game with some other flashback moments).

I love the fact that Xiaoyu transform to mature woman from a cute little fighter girl now she really was caring a lot for Jin! I watch her grow as a tekken fan since 2002. I love it so much! ❤ Xiaoyu has been a pioneer character since Tekken 3 with Jin Kazama The Protagonist of Tekken.

I feel to my knees crying. I shipped them since i was 10 years old. Its a Christmas Miracle!!! 😭😭😭

I love them so much. It's so good to see them together, it's so good to see Jin finally reciprocating her feelings. Everything about Jin in this Tekken's perfect: he finally faced his fears and noticed that isolation's not the answer, and that he'll get stronger by sticking to the people he loves. It makes me so happy seeing him like this for the first time. I really hope we can see more of the new Jin and his relationship with Xiaoyu in the future.

After all these Years I extremely happy Jin and Xiaoyu are Opening Up Each Other in this Romantic Build Up because honestly they bring the Best of Each Other.

It’s very enlightening to see recent fighting games now finally given us Liu Kang x Kitana and Jin x Xiaouu (minus the kiss) we’ve been waiting for years!

This game is a giant middle finger to everyone who doesn't like Xiaoyu. And I like it that way.
