Wrong information. Nothing to do w Microsoft. Crowdstrike outage.
  • This global internet outage is insane! All airlines grounded and i was stock the airport and even banks, media, and offices from the U.S. to Australia. How can CrowdStrike have such a monopoly that could help restore such a massive amount of tech?

Good thing our systems don't have CrowdStrike, only Counter-Strike.

lol at least get your facts right…nothing to do with Microsoft. Competitor to Microsoft

It's mind-blowing how much power these companies have. With deeply rooted access to so many devices, I would be worried if a nefarious company acquired them to take advantage of their access and potentially backdoors.
  • Seriously i think everyone across Australia should rethink the idea of digital money things like this could happen again at least having real money would eliminate any losses of peoples money this is a wake up call for everyone.

Southwest Airlines in th US was unaffected. Supposedly use an Old version of Windows. New software isn't always the best.
  • Who is the scapegoat this time? Huawei? Isn’t this a national security risk? It’s has caused billions of dollars globally. Who is responsible for that? CrowdStrike shouldn’t be in the business of cybersecurity, and it has caused more damage than security breaches could ever cause given the scale of the upgrade “glitch”.

Did I see them say "we are deeply sorry"? Is this some kind of joke? Anyone offering to step-down? A security software that can't even secure it's own updates. "we are deeply sorry" that's not even serious to me.

Microsoft need to give manual update option to consumer.

    Perhaps insufficient regression testing.
