"Orange pushups in a toilet paper roll" 😂😂😂 It is still in the frozen novelty ice cream freezer!
  • Sounds delicious! I love creamsickles! Here's one to try .... Soften vanilla ice cream and orange sherbet. Once softened, put a layer of vanilla ice cream in the bottom of a loaf pan then a layer of the softened sherbet then another layer of the vanilla ice cream and freeze it. Turn it out and slice it and you've got a creamsicle! It's delicious. If you use a corning loaf "pan" it comes out easier.

Perfect for this hot summer weather.
  • On our way to my Grandma Nichol’s house, my dad would get us all a soda and peanuts to go in them. I would ask for an RC. We didn’t have much money so it was a huge treat. RC and peanuts—yum. Love your stories and your recipes!!!

I remember the orange Creamsicles. They were delicious, and this salad looks delicious also. Thanks for sharing your recipes, MeMe. 🙂♥️

I love your recipes so much. I made the peach trifle 2 days ago and made enough to fill a large punch bowl. It lasted only 1 day. Everyone ate it all up. Even neighbors came and got some. So I told them about you and your channel and cook books. They are now following you. Thank you for inspiring us. I take care of elderly people in my neighborhood and they absolutely love your recipes. ❤
  • Luv that you brought back this Retro deliciousness, MeMe!❤ It's not seasonal- it's tasty all year long!🍊🍦

My granddaughter is coming to visit this weekend. This will be waiting for her. I am sure she will love it. She is only 6 years old.

Oh MeMe this is the first time I’ve seen the other side of your kitchen and your refrigerator! 😆 This salad looks so good! My Grandma Pat always bought the orange sherbet push ups in the toilet paper rolls!! I loved them. I made no peek chicken yesterday for our Sunday Lunch and it was ALL gone in a short time! ❤Love from Missouri!

I've only discovered your channel about a week ago, but I find myself returning often. I love your smile, your lovely wardrobe, the recipes, KK's additions and the entertaining anecdotes. Orange push-up's in a toilet paper roll was priceless!
  • I think you are so precious. ❤ In our chaotic world today it is always refreshing to come across videos like this. KK you are so blessed to have MeMe in your life, never take her for granted and love on her as much as you can. My prayer is that I always will illuminate His light for all to see. God bless you both. ❤
  • Oh my! Do we ever love all the different Jello/Cool Whip summer salads! I can eat them all year long! Seeing this make me want to make one! Ha! And oh how we loved icy cold Coca Cola with peanuts! It must be a southern thing! I’ve told some people about it and they never heard of it! I think it was much better in the day when they had all those old red Coca Cola coolers and the drinks would get really icy!!! Oh my were they good! Hope your day tomorrow is not too hot but is filled with SONshine! 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
  • I’ve loved this since I was a child. I put more oranges and marshmallows in it. I also use the juice from the oranges and add water to required amount. I often add pineapple tidbits as well. It’s always a crowd pleaser. Some folks add cottage cheese. I don’t because not everyone likes it that way. Next dinner I’m going to make glorified rice. Yummy. Haven’t had it for virtually decades.
  • Love.. Love.. her humor and Kk too ☺️🤗 Mimi's recipes are delicious and simple to make 🙂 Thank you so much for making cooking fun 😊

Oh what memories. Those orange push up ice creams were my favorite growing up. So were the dreamsicles. Sometimes I mix my own vanilla ice cream with orange sherbet. So good! And I bet this is delicious ! Cant wait to make this for my next church ladies meeting! We love to potluck!
