Awsome job ! Thanks for sharing didn't know you could use that presentation year round like that ! I usually just catch crappie in the spring cause I could not find them in the summer so I just catfished or went for bluegills .I can't wait to give this a try ! To open my options up for better success crappie fishing !

Awesome video. I like how you go through things and teach us different techniques. One thing I would like to see is just one video how to do your knots. That way we can go to the one video and learn how to do them the correct way. Thanks
  • With this set up, I use 8 lbs. braid tied to a swivel with a 6lbs. leader. That way if you get snagged, you can pull it off and only lose your jig, instead of losing your bobber and bead.
  • Awesome video buddy and a very good tip also!! My problem is just finding where the crappies are on a lake and then trying to get them to bite because they are so pressured fish!!! If I can get past those two things I will definitely be much happier!!!

Great video. I bobber fish a lot for walleye and crappie. One trick I was taught with a slide your bobber on the line followed by a bead. Then tie the line to a swivel. If you are fishing deeper, say 12 feet over 20 feet, add a slip sinker above the bead. Tie main line to swivel. If you are using 8lb mono, tie a 6lb leader (say 12-14 inches) and then your jib or hook. This keeps everything from getting caught up. If you get hung up on a branch, rock or other, you can break of the jig/live bait hook (6lb leader), without losing your bobber. I like your video with subscribe! Fishmohr

Thank you for comparing the side imaging, down imaging, and the 2d. The contrast between the 3 really stands out to me! Awesome video!
  • You are a genius I've been doing that for over 40 years and that not will not come loose if you wet it before you when you pull it tight
  • Very cool set up. On the bank, I use a blastoff bobber from RnB to deliver a light jig to distance. Cannot detect negative bits tho.

I'm working the jig set up now. Hoping it will help. Very slow hitting in mid Georgia.
  • I tie the loop much smaller then that, so there is still some spring in the line. Better action fewer issues. Give it a try sometime
  • @fashopimpin
My god that’s the easiest way to tie a loop knot thanks!!!!!
